A great Idea for people that don't have money (or very little of it) and want to spread a little holiday cheer despite it. I am going through peoples wishlist right now seeing what I can do

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

REMEMBER this is about ways you can help people through what you have. You do not need to blow all your savings on this , it is simply to get that good feeling when you help people out

*My wish list*

1) I wish that everyone that has posted a wish list get's at least one wish granted. (you can help with this by seeing others wishlists and seeing if you can grant one)
2) I wish for hand made art/crafts. There is nothing greater than having work by other artist that you can show off to friends and family. Someday I wish to have my whole house full of up and coming artists work.
3) A year sub to DA , just so I don't have to worry about where I am going to get the 8 bucks every three months to renew it! (i have been entering every DA contest to try and win one but no luck yet )
4) ANIME! hehe I love anything anime , especially studio Ghibli! I have recently gotten into manga , and just finished getting all of the "Spirited Away" manga books and next I am going to work on "Totoro"
5) I wish that I could find a job! ( a job would make it a lot easier to make others wishes come true )
6) Video game galore! I love DS and X-box 360 but don't have any money to even buy the games that went down to ten bucks! Someday I will have ALL of them MWahahah!
7) I wish I could get to know my Native American Heritage better. I am 13% Native American and love ANYTHING that has to do with tribes and memorabilia. I tried to learn the language of the Native Tribe closest to me , but It was hard! So , I learn by collecting things. When I get something new that deals with Native american culture , I study it , learn all I can about it and what it was used for (even clothing) until I get the next thing
8) I wish that all the soldiers fighting in wars around the world could come home for Christmas.
9) I wish for the greatest digital camera in the world!!!
10) I wish for Copic Markers
